MOTION event: Citizen engagement towards sustainable cities

This video explains the methods used to stimulate citizen engagement in visualising and enacting sustainable cities.

Transitions towards sustainability require a deep commitment from citizens in different locations. For citizens and activists, this event brought the opportunity to interact with several sustainability initiatives in their own cities, and to have a space to raise their efforts and concerns towards sustainability transformations. For policymakers and researchers, this event shed light on the importance and challenges of citizen engagement in innovative sustainability projects.

This event was organized by the MOTION project. MOTION is a collaboration between TIPC and the European Institute of Innovation and Technology Knowledge and Innovation Community (EIT Climate-KIC).
