This report details the study and analysis of the Kenyan TIP case that acted as the context-specific project for looking at experimentation into transformative change using the ‘niche’ initiative of mobile education for nomadic people. It looks at how it challenged the received wisdom of schooling to be innovative and transformative for the communities it was seeking to serve. The report shows the intermediaries, the power dynamics of partnerships and defines how the project addressed transformative principles and outcomes.
