This presentation highlights the diverse experimental cultures emerging in different contexts, drawing on a survey of TIPC members and in-depth interviews that took place in August and September 2018. It highlights common themes for experimental approaches, examples from Colombia, Finland, Norway, Mexico, South Africa and Sweden, and common issues, helping us to reflect on the approaches most suitable for Transformative Innovation Policy, and the political dimensions of such efforts.
