This practical planning document was developed during the pilot phase of TIPC to help researchers and practitioners from Africa (and other TIPC regions) to prepare to develop the transformative learning history. A learning history is an example of what is called in transition studies a second order learning process, helping us to consider how to modify the approaches we take to planning and implementing future policies.  The methodology is valuable for experimentation, as it can help us to cultivate the experimental mindset needed to design and implement TIP experiments.
