The systems map explores the current reality of the Investment System with a focus on Transformative Investment. It represents visually the interconnectedness and relationships within the system and the feedback mechanisms that shape the system’s behaviour.
The purpose of the map is to illustrate the key dynamics driving the behaviour of the system and which keep that system stuck to producing undesired outcomes for society and the environment. Understanding these dynamics can support the identification and design of leverage pathways for systemic transformation.
This map is based on published research provided by the Deep Transitions Lab and stakeholder input gathered through the core team members from Deep Transitions Lab and Generalitat de Catalunya, one focus group and ten interviews.
