Transformative theory of change for the Sustainable Urban Shared Mobility (SuSMo) project

This graphic illustrates a Theory of Change for the Sustainable Urban Shared Mobility (SuSMo) project, an EIT Climate-KIC funded initiative to accelerate the adoption of shared mobility across Europe.

The project activities, outputs and outcomes feed into several pathways, which interact and collectively contribute to a number of Transformative Outcomes in the middle of the diagram – including networking, circulation, replication, learning and unlearning, and changes in expectations. These Transformative Outcomes contribute to the desired impact of the initiative: an inclusive, accessible and well integrated shared mobility system that contributes to the decarbonisation of transport.

The diagram emphasises that change is not linear but relational and iterative, highlighting the role that Transformative Outcomes play in linking project activities to systemic transformation.
