Workshop report: Stretching the food area transformative strategies

This report documents the discussions and outcomes of a collaborative workshop with Vinnova, in which participants unpacked transformative strategies for the food system.

The engagement brought together researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to reflect on how innovation policies and programmes can address the complex social, environmental, and economic changes requires to transform food systems.

Insights include the need to adopt systemic perspectives that recognise the interconnected nature of food production, distribution, consumption, and sustainability challenges, and to advance opportunities for new policy strategies and initiatives that can ‘stretch’ the potential of existing programmes to support broader transformation.
