Biography
Lecturer at Department of International Relations, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Gadjah Mada
Managing Editor of Global South Review Journal
Supervisor of Policy Partnership at Center of World Trade Studies, Universitas Gadjah Mada
As a researcher, my primary area of interest is Indonesia and the Southeast Asia region, with a focus on exploring the complexities and nuances of this region’s political economy and society. Additionally, I have a strong interest in the study of the Global South and its political, economic, and social dynamics, as well as cutting-edge topics such as circular economy, platform cooperatives, digital democracy, and the gig economy.
In my professional capacity, I have been working at the Center of World Trade Studies on a project aimed at mainstreaming circular economy in Indonesia. Specifically, I have been participating in the organisation of workshops and training sessions for school headmasters, with the goal of helping them to transform their schools into circular schools that implement circular economy principles.
I currently hold the position of Managing Editor for the Global South Review (GSR), an open-access academic journal dedicated to promoting research and analysis about the Global South. Through my work with the GSR, I strive to create a platform for scholars, researchers, and practitioners to share their insights, perspectives, and experiences on these crucial and rapidly evolving areas of interest. By doing so, I hope to contribute to the development of a more nuanced and inclusive understanding of these topics and to promote greater collaboration and exchange between scholars and practitioners from different regions and disciplines.
